We’ve listed some frequently asked questions about what we do below. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
You can buy directly from me by email or phone.
Visitors are welcome by prior arrangement. If you wish to see the books before purchasing please send me a list and I can have them ready for you to peruse them.
All books are stored in alphabetical order by author so browsing is not really an option.
You can pay by cheque, card, Paypal or Bank transfer (I prefer bank transfer or cheque as these do not currently incur fees)
All dust wrappers are protected with clear cellophane. All books are wrapped in card before being put in a jiffy bag to provide protection from bumping and creasing.
UK: Royal Mail 1st class post with confirmation of delivery tracking
Overseas: Books weighing under 2 kilos are sent by Royal Mail tracked. If over 2 kilos a courier with tracking is used.
The postage rates set on the selling sites are for parcels weighing 1 kilo or less. When books weigh more than 1 kilo then additional postage maybe requested and this is stated in the individual listing. Where the book is very light I may reduce the postage cost at point of sale.
If you have books you wish to sell you can use the Sell Your Books Form on this page or alternatively you can email photographs to me directly, it can be a shelf rather than individual books. Please say where you are so if I am not able to buy I may be able to suggest possible alternatives.
